ASTM A790 S32750 Super Duplex Stainless Steel Pipe is a type of seamless or welded super duplex stainless steel pipe conforming to the ASTM A790 standard. UNS S32750, also known as Super Duplex 2507, is a ferritic-austenitic duplex stainless steel, possessing excellent mechanical strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance.
This material contains approximately 25% chromium, 7% nickel, and 4% molybdenum, exhibiting excellent resistance to chloride corrosion and effectively resisting pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Therefore, ASTM A790 S32750 Super Duplex Stainless Steel Pipe is widely used in high-performance applications such as seawater, chemical, offshore oil and gas, and seawater desalination.

1. Excellent Acid Corrosion Resistance
ASME SA790 UNS S32750 steel pipe contains a high proportion of chromium and molybdenum, thus exhibiting excellent overall corrosion resistance to organic acids such as formic acid and acetic acid. Simultaneously, 2507 also demonstrates strong corrosion resistance to various inorganic acids, especially chloride-containing acidic media. Compared to 316L steel pipe, 2507 exhibits better resistance to localized corrosion and crevice corrosion in dilute hydrochloric acid environments, and its corrosion resistance to mixed media of dilute chlorides and sulfuric acid is also superior to 904L.
