Hastelloy C276 plate and sheet composition, as defined by the ASTM B575 standard, includes 57% nickel, 16% molybdenum, 15% chromium, and 4% tungsten. This specific composition virtually eliminates the risk of welding sensitization.
It exhibits exceptional high-temperature strength, with a tensile strength of ≥240 MPa at 538°C (ranking among the top for nickel-based alloys) and a yield strength of ≥415 MPa (maintaining 380 MPa even at -196°C).
In environments with high chloride ion concentrations, such as flue gas desulfurization towers, its service life exceeds 15 years (compared to just 6 months for carbon steel). Furthermore, a 10mm thick Hastelloy C276 plate can often replace a 15mm thick ordinary alloy plate, saving up to $1200 per ton in processing fees.
Factory Processing
We provide mirror polishing and pickling & passivation surface treatments. This process creates a passivation film with a thickness of 5μm and guarantees a 100% pass rate in intergranular corrosion testing.We also offer zero-deformation cutting services.
Production Strength
Our manufacturing process utilizes the VIM+ESR (Vacuum Induction Melting + Electroslag Remelting) method, with composition verification performed via Electron Probe Microanalysis.
We have an annual production capacity of 8,000 tons. We maintain a readily available inventory of 300 tons, covering core specifications such as 2mm, 5mm, and 10mm thicknesses.
To ensure superior product quality, every batch undergoes full inspection, including intergranular corrosion testing and δ-ferrite (delta phase) content analysis.
