Products Description
The 2205 duplex stainless steel coils produced by our factory are strictly in accordance with the ASTM A240/A240M standard. The key components are very accurate, which has both high strength and top corrosion resistance.
The measured tensile strength is 620-800 MPa, with an average of more than 750 MPa, which is more than double the strength of 304 stainless steel. The calculated pitting resistance equivalent (PREN) is not less than 34, and the measured value is 34.5±0.3. Moreover, according to the ASTM G48 standard test, the critical pitting temperature is not less than 35°C, and it can effectively resist corrosion in saturated salt water environment, 6% trichloride solution and industrial acidic medium with pH ≥ 2.
Factory Processing
We offer pickled and brushed surface finishes.
Pickled Surface: Features a roughness of Ra ≤1.2μm, is free of scale, and is ideal for welding.
Brushed Surface: Has a subtle, uniform texture that is highly suitable for visible components, such as marine hardware.
We also provide custom edge processing-including deburring and beveling-to streamline your downstream manufacturing processes.
Production Strength
Our annual production capacity for 2205 duplex stainless steel coils is between 30000 and 50000 tons. Every batch is tested in our in-house laboratory.
We maintain a stock of 1000 to 1500 tons at our Shanghai warehouse, covering common specifications. Our online inventory is updated in real-time.
This logistics capacity allows us to ship most European orders within 10 days of order confirmation via the Port of Shanghai.
Factory Commitments
Orders exceeding 50 tons receive an 8% bulk discount and complimentary slitting. For FOB Shanghai shipments, we subsidize 30% of the ocean freight to major European ports like Rotterdam and Hamburg-a benefit made possible by our long-term carrier contracts.
Unlike many suppliers, we support our 2205 Duplex Stainless Steel Coil with a 5-year corrosion warranty for normal service conditions. Should the material fail to meet ASTM specifications, we will replace it within 72 hours and cover any related delay costs. We also hold prices firm for 45 days on bulk orders to protect you from market volatility.
